Aaron Scythe (b. 1971, Auckland, New Zealand) is a ceramic artist known for his contemporary interpretations of Japanese pottery traditions. After studying in Australia, he spent more than 16 years living and working in Japan, developing expertise in wood-firing, shino glazes and Mino ceramics, while presenting over 60 solo exhibitions. Now based in New Zealand, Scythe exhibits internationally and regularly leads workshops and residencies. His work is held in private collections throughout New Zealand, Japan, Europe and North America.

answer…..nothing

Fingerprints, imperfect forms, distortion, soul
