He has presented more than 12 solo exhibitions and participated in over 34 invitational group exhibitions nationally and internationally. Career highlights include representation at SOFA Chicago (2007) and COLLECT at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London (2008). Pottinger has received numerous awards and grants, including Australia Council New Work Development grants and the Sidney Myer Fund International Ceramics Award.
